ASIAFEST '11, the 8th Annual
Plano Asian American Heritage Festival
Celebrating Asian American Heritage
Foundation, a non-profit all-volunteer
organization, announces ASIAFEST ‘11, the 8th
Annual Plano Asian American Heritage
Festival.
ASIAFEST ‘11 will be held in Downtown
Plano’s Haggard Park on Saturday May 7.
The festival is geared toward the
entire family.
Admission and parking in City lots
are free.
Join us Saturday May 7st
for a fun filled afternoon in the Park.
Activities will include balloon
animal clowns, live music and dance
performances, and a variety of Asian food.
Plano Mayor Phil Dyer will be on hand to proclaim the
first week of May Asian American Heritage
Week.
The Festival will
feature a wide variety of Asian food from
area restaurants.
Festival goers are encouraged to come
for lunch.
Participating restaurants include Plano Chinese BBQ, Henry’s Homemade Ice Cream, Mango
Thai, Geisha Japanese Steakhouse, Boba Latte, and Cindi's New York Deli.
